Toy Story 3 bday

First Bdays!
My nephew turned ONE and my sister decided to go with the TOY STORY 3 theme since that's whats ALL the "BUZZ'' right now.
(aren't they adorable?!)

We came up with this idea as always, for our centerpieces--this one here is one of the smaller ones. I was gonna import some TS3 svg images into my SCAL program and cut them with my CRICUT but I was a bit in a rush so paper plates seemed to do nicely.

This one here is much taller and the tissue paper is in a vertical pattern instead of horizontal like the one before. Simple yet Adorable and Extremely Decorative!

we did these for my nieces 1yr bday party...I had more photos to post but they didn't show up.

I know it seems like forever since I posted on here and the truth is I have lots to post up...dresses I've been sewing, new fabric, giveaways and so much more. It's just since we switched from broadband to wireless internet..it didn't seem to go for the better... :(

I'm suppose to be saving about $25 from this switch (which is alot) but I don't know if its worth it. Sometimes it's fast and other times it's slow...I don't know why!!?? So I'm so sad I cannot say what I would like and post other things on here because trust me...my mind is just exploding with ideas!! (Don't give up on me...I'll try to keep up!!)

Finally got around to posting some of my bday pics...and forgive me for not posting too many on the happy party details..but you know they're the usual..People eating..laughing..kids screaming and hollering..i've got cake on my face...People making "to go" plates (at least here in the mexican side...lol) etc..etc..OVERALL IT WAS BLISSFULLY WONDERFUL!I had so many friends and family come and spend this time with me...I had them all say speeches (not that I "made" them..haha) for me which had my lip quivering like a child who is trying to keep from crying so mommy or daddy won't spank him...:)They all had such wonderful things to say..I felt so special and yet so small because at that moment I could feel God's LOVE all around me and it's just such an INCREDIBLY BIG feeling that you have no choice but to feel small under it's GREATNESS!

Since it was a Surprise bday I didn't get to create these but my sister did and well I'm just SO proud of her because she's learned very well! (I must be a good teacher!!)

This is the cake table with goodie bags..which was rather thoughtful...I had 3 cakes! That was Awesome they must of really known I LOVE Cake...strawberry shortcake. strawberry chocolate and upside down pineapple cake!!

Hubby's Racecar theme 30th!

         This is my family...my hubby, my 2 little girls, my son and my stepdad (the clown!).I made my husband a Surprise big 30th bday in a Racing theme...He likes to race...likes fast cars..Loves 5.0 MUSTANGS!!! so not so much the nascar racing thing but  this was as much of a Racing theme i could come up with. As you can tell by my posts...I love going ALL OUT when it comes to parties and celebrations!! I went and bought me a Racing Costume--but covered myself up with some pants..(cause you know--them things are T*I*N*Y*) hehehe..then I went out and bought me some fabric and ribbon to make my girls Pillowcase dresses and matching bows, I also made my son a t-shirt w/ a "tie" applique from the matching fabric, once my husband got there he used the bandana that I used to cover his eyes and wrapped it around his neck like a bandit..hahaha..so we were all matching "picturePerfect"---is that even cool?? oh, well , it sure worked here and I'm pleased..what do ya' thinK?

                                         This is my husbands' cake table, (yes-I made that delicious cake!! lol)I'm kinds stumped that I did not take that many pictures focusing on the details--like the centerpieces I had, banners, etc. but I guess I'll just show you part of it...better than nothing huh?

So, this is our cake table and a little scary...Our beautiful cake in which my sister and I worked alot-way into 2am that morning..got ruined when I had to slam my on my brakes on my way to
the party and well there wasn't anyone there to catch it...It was sitting on the passengers side on the floor..yea- not well thought out..it probably was my fault. Anyways once you take off all the mm fondant..it was delicious--strawberry and poundcake layers with strawberry/mango creamcheese icing and then the bottom was triple fudge chocolate with a mocha (coffee) cream cheese filling!!yum!

Its super cute isnt' it? Also very good for harsh
hot weather..I didn't want to upset anybody's stomach
with any other kind of food, because I don't know
about you but I seem to get sick w/headache & stomach
ache when it's too hot and I eat brisket or chicken with
all the trimmings..:(

So this is the pinata & centerpiece I made for her birthday! Well, let me tell you-when I got to the park it was Super Windy & everything kept flying off the tables..and I was like "Lord, please let this wind stop.." and it did :)...but then came the Rain w/ Thunder!!hahahaha...I Was freaking out a little but thankfully it did stop and then the Sun came out and with it ALOT of Heat--'cause trust me it was HOT!!!

Cupcakes&Birthdays!

So, I'm making my youngest daughters' 1st BDAY!! and i am very excited!! (i even feel a little bad because i don't remember being this excited for my other 2...is that bad? LOL...it's just you have to see my little one..she's sooo tiny) Anyways i'm doing HOT PINK & LIME GREEN filled w/ lots of CUPCAKES!!! i am making all the decorations including invitations and the pinata handmade..that's the only way i know! hehehe..so check out the pic of my pinata..i will post more when i'm through with it!
